Who Can Upload Music on our Site?

allAfrican Music Now is for everyone, and depending how far you go into a person’s lineage, (about 200,000 years ago) We Are All African. You can read about the science supporting this theory here. What all of this means, is that we welcome all musicians who feel compelled to share their music with our African audience, this is why we have an “Other/Diaspora” option in the country list. All people are welcome at African Music Now.

OCHU SHEGGY

Robert Eddy Sheggy was raised as the only son by a single mother the late Naomi John before he became an orphan in 2006. His music career started at 10 years old as a church lead singer. It was at the age of 14 that he discovered rap music and was immediately drawn to the style. His rap career was cut short when one day he was caught rapping inside the church rehearsal room busting rhymes with choir instruments. It was then his choir instructors advised that, “if by chance you want to do music of the world, you should to stick to singing because you have an incredible gifted voice .” These words of wisdom and acknowledgement of his natural talent allowed OCHU SHEGGY to realize his potential and become one of Tanzania’s favorite Bongo Flava & RnB singers.

His track #KINGERAZA is now available here. #OCHUSHEGGY #RobertEddySheggy

Yeeeeh…. S .O .N .G .A (Songa) Niko na Bin Laden….

Verse 1.

CHORUS

VERSE 2 Ukishaanza kupata tu akili, jua maisha safari na unasafiri, Inabidi uwe tayari kuyakabili, Inahitaji ujasiri mpaka mtu kuwa kamili, Ishike elimu itakupa vingi sana, najua unapata mzuka nikichana, Eeh Yeah ila ndo niko hivi mwana , NiiteSonga Baba au dingi kijana(sina mtoto), Huku kuna visa kwa spika vinavyoskika mpaka kwenye maskio ya kichwa, Kwamba watu waliiba wakashikwa wakajiuzulu na kesi ndo ikaisha, Sasa nenda uibe kuku, Uone mbinde upigwe umwagike supu, Wakuzibe wakuchinje tupu, wakakuulie porini wakuzike huku

CHORUS LEO×10….. NASEMA NA WANANGU!!!!!
